My career has spanned film and television production, artist development, content creation, and senior management for Fortune 500 companies and startups alike.

I produced the acclaimed 2008 feature documentary The Night James Brown Saved Boston (which premiered at the 2008 SXSW Film Festival) for VH1 and Fremantle. In 2006 I was coordinating producer for Lionsgate’s film The U.S. vs. John Lennon and for the Authorized Pictures feature documentary Who Is Harry Nilsson (And Why Is Everybody Talkin’ About Him)?. I most recently co-produced a 4-hour retrospective on “Norman Lear’s Television Revolution,” released by Sony in 2009.

I’m a founding partner of SW14 Group, a strategy, management and content consultancy established in 1999, and currently manage Tears For Fears co-founder Curt Smith. SW14’s client roster has included AOL Europe, Barnes and Noble, BBC Online, Luxury Living magazine, MTV Networks Europe, Outlook Amusements, and Tasting Panel magazine.

As part of the AOL UK management team at its 1996 inception, I oversaw operations security, online promotions and online community, and produced the Chat channel. Prior to AOL, as Vice President, Marketing for DIC Entertainment, I directed ad sales, marketing and distribution, and shared responsibility for programming sales. I began my career in the media department at Ogilvy & Mather, where I rose to the rank of Assistant Media Director for clients including CBS Entertainment Division, Mattel Toys and American Express.

I’m a member of the Producers Guild of America, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, and the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. I’ve guest-lectured at the USC Annenberg School for Communication and at the Otis School of Art and Design. In addition to being a founding board member of Vintage Hollywood Foundation, of which I’m currently president, I serve on the President’s Council of my alma mater, Smith College. I’ve lived and worked in both the U.S. and the U.K.
