So, my son pointed out the other day that Jane Jetson is 32 in the cartoon series (which Wikipedia says the character states in the first episode). Her husband George is six years her senior.
Their daughter Judy? Age 16.
Do the math.
Intentional on the part of the writers? Inadvertent? Should it change how we regard the series?
I’m not suggesting that discussion of this issue should take precedence over, say, job creation, a cure for cancer or Mideast Peace. Still…
