Links of the Day – 4.2.11

Here’s what I found notable today:

  • Proud to note that a Smith College alumna is one of the 2011 Pipeline Fellows, as reported by Tech Crunch.  Pipeline is a New York-based fund that wants to increase the number of women angel investors and social media entrepreneurs in the U.S.
  • The incredibly useful LifeHacker shared a timely article from GOOD, Ten Stress Busters That Make You Look Better. I suspect doing even a few of the ten would make one happier and healthier.
  • My friend, the actor and artist Jason Antoon, recommended two sources for earthquake prep kids, Quake Kare and EssentialPacks. I’ve got Quake Kare kits in each of our cars. Do it now.
  • Another friend, Roberto Rogness (of the superb Santa Monica shop Wine Expo) let me know about this rather amazing Brazilian Nissan commercial. You don’t need to speak Portugese to understand it, but the Jalopnik article explains it just in case.
