Since 1942, the Friends of the Smith College Libraries have played a vital role in the growth and expansion of the Smith libraries. Friends have contributed books, archival materials, funds (including the FSCL Preservation Fund, Sophia Smith Collection, and Acquisition, Furnishings and Tecnholoy Funds), and special resources. Many of the library’s rare and unique assets were made possible through the generosity of Friends.
JDRF’s mission is to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research. JDRF is also committed to developing new and better treatments that improve the lives of people with type 1 diabetes and keep them healthy while they advance toward a cure.
